Dr. Dave is demonstrating to a patient how the spine is constructed and the relationship of the vertebrae to the nervous system. A vertebrae shifted out of normal position putting pressure on a nerve is called "subluxation". Dr Dave Jolliff is a graduate of the Life Chiropractic College West, San Lorenzo.
Dave has a very special interest in vintage cars, especially
the Cadillac. He has a degree in music and if you remember from a
previous Rotary program, has toured Europe playing some of the more famous
pipe organs of the world. Be sure to catch Dr. Dave's special "lounge
act" he performs on his office piano. Dave is also active with the Mc Henry
Museum. Dave is a past-president of Gateway Rotary and is one of
the our few past presidents that remain active in the club.
Dave's daughter, Amanda, has just left on a one-year
student exchange program to Germany. She will spend one month in Witten
for total language emersion and then onto her eleven month stay with her
host family in Schneeburg, Germany. (The above headline was cutoff,
so Amanda is not recovering from any type of ocular surgery.)
Dave's son, Todd, of whom you might remember as the president
of the Modesto High Interact, is now 23 and finishing his A.A. degree at
Modesto Junior College.
Oldest daughter Amy is married and is a sixth grade instructor
in Nashville, Tennessee.
